Viridiana Vidal is a three-time Emmy award-winning Latina journalist and business owner with more than 15 years of experience. She was born in Tenancingo, Mexico but grew up in Tapachula, Chiapas where she graduated college with an associates degree in physics and math. In 2003, Viri moved to Las Vegas and earned two more degrees, one in communications and journalism and a second one in graphic design.

Through her career in journalism she has held positions as political/investigative reporter, sports main anchor, primetime main anchor for Univision Nevada, national correspondent for Panorama Nacional and Senior Producer for Telemundo/NBC. Viri currently produces the only radio show in Nevada with political analysis in Spanish and works as a freelancer for many national outlets.

In 2016, Viri decided to help nonprofit organizations fighting for immigrants’ rights. She was named America’s Voice state director in Nevada. Later that year, she opened her own communications and media consulting firm, rebranded in 2018 as NReal Media Strategies, and Viri was named the “Progressive Voice of Nevada” by Vegas Seven Magazine in 2018 for her work on immigration and womens’ rights causes.

NReal Media continuously seeks to make an impact in the Nevada community either through its clients, or its pro bono work. Viri and her NReal Media team have also reported on several occasions from Tijuana, Mexico about the humanitarian crisis at the southern border, including collaborations with Jorge Ramos, New York Times, VICE, BuzzFeed and Cosmopolitan Magazine.

Angel Sandoval is a bilingual Journalist, radio host, and producer for Decision Latina since 2019. He was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico where he graduated from the Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrollo (UNID) with a degree in Communication Sciences and Techniques.

When Angel started his journalism career he discovered his passion for sharing information with his community, giving a voice to those who feel like no one is listening, and doing in-depth research on topics that matter to the Latinx community.

Angel has worked for Noticias Univision Las Vegas; the weekend show Contigo y para ti that aired in Telemundo Las Vegas; in the former ESPN Las Vegas, now Deportes Vegas 1460 AM; and Fiesta 98.1 FM.

Escritor, articulista y editor. Dirigió durante 10 años la sección cultural de Diario del Sur, periódico de circulación estatal.

Escribió los siguientes libros: Los caminos torcidos de Soconusco, que en su segunda edición se llamó “Testimonio de un Despojo”, un ensayo histórico sobre como los soconusquenses (Soconusco es la franja, de la montaña al mar, en la costa chiapaneca del Pacífico), se hicieron chiapanecos; “Duro de olvidar… me cae”, constituye su primer libro de narrativa que describe la vida de los tapachultecos de mediados del siglo XX; Religión desnuda es un polémico texto sobre las ventajas o desventajas que supone ser un pueblo religioso poniendo en entredicho si ha valido la pena profesar la religión católica y Nueva literatura de Soconusco, compilación de cuentos de diversos escritores tapachultecos, donde figuran nueve textos de él.
Editó la Revista Raíces y escribió infinidad de artículos.
